Beetroot Chekkalu

Beetroot chekkalu is made with fresh beetroots and other spices that give it a unique flavour when you eat it. It is called chekkalu because the batter has to be baked in an oven. Chekkalu's recipe has been passed down through generations of Andhra, Telangana, Bangalore's Punjabi families who have perfected this dish to create a perfect recipe that tastes just right.
